Denny runs the show at First State Insurance. His career started with AG Insurance in Goshen and after 10 years, he left to start his own agency, DJW Insurance. In 2001 he saw the advantages that came with partnering with First State Bank, and the rest is insurance history.

 

Denny LOVES his grandkids … all nine of them. He spends as much time spoiling them as possible. He is a committed 4-H volunteer and has a soft spot for the Swine Club. He loves raising prize winning show pigs. Denny has been the voice of Goshen High School athletics for more than 25 years. He enjoys being the local radio play by play man for football and basketball games.

First State Insurance came alive when Jamie joined the crew in 2019. He is also a long-time insurance agent beginning his career in 1989. His favorite part of the process is seeing the claim through to the end, making his client whole again.

 

Jamie enjoys taking in the mountain views of Gatlinburg, TN or roaming the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. He most enjoys helping the local restaurants deplete their stock of fresh seafood. When he’s on vacation, he’s missed by his favorite feline, Gracie.

It’s all about choices for Isha. She loves to work with clients to explore all the options they may have for coverage. Isha has been in the insurance field since 2002 and came to First State Insurance in 2019.

 

A professed bibliophile, you can usually find Isha reading a good book – or 2 or 3. She’s also always on the hunt for a great muffin recipe, since every weekend includes some sort of baking. Traveling with family is also a tradition. Ask Isha about Sunset Rock – her family loves to hike in the Catskills each year.

Rick is a life-long insurance agent starting his career in 1988 at Farm Bureau Insurance. He joined First State Insurance in 2006 and works hard for his clients. He has a passion to provide the coverage needed at the best possible price.

 

When not in the office, Rick can be found cheering on one of his eight grandchildren at a sporting or school event … it’s almost a full-time job. If he had a choice, he would probably spend more time hitting the links or knocking down some pins. He has two 300 games to his credit.

Having spent her entire career at First State Insurance, Sunshine has been a staple in the office since 2004. She genuinely loves helping people. Working through all the different scenarios and situations keeps every day fresh and interesting.

 

Sunshine and her husband like to have fun with their three children and they keep them hopping. A 14-year gap between the oldest & youngest, there’s always excitement. Enjoying RV glamping is their preferred way to travel, getting in plenty of outdoor games, target shooting and 4 wheeling.
